“Zhopa” (butt in Russian) is the word that we commonly use to describe the general decay and hopelessness. By pronouncing it we wash our hands of responsibility for everything, what hasn’t been invented, said or done. The worse gets the world around us; the more often we repeat this mantra. Meanwhile we acknowledge that only those people have zhopas, who managed to come up in the world. We can observe their zhopas in details from below; we can criticize zhopas of politicians, oligarchs, experts and celebrities.
The idea that we all have zhopas occurs to no one, including those at the top. Having covered our zhopas with clothes, stylish and not much so, we pretend that they simply do not exist.
The mission of ZhopArt is to remind people that they all indeed have zhopas.
